Pokémon GO's Community Day for May features the grass-type acorn Pokémon Seedot, an exclusive research story and livestream. The 6 hour long event starts at 11am and runs through 5pm in your local timezone next Sunday, May 24th.

This month you can look forward to triple catch experience, Incense duration increased to three hours, and a surprise in GO Snapshots. If your Pokémon buddy has a level of great buddy or higher, they will bring you items throughout the event. A single purchase "May Community Day bundle" will be available which offers an Elite Fast TM, 30 Ultra Balls, three Incense, and three Lucky Eggs.

Players who evolve their Nuzleaf, the evolved version of Seedot, during the event will gain a Shiftry that knows the fast attack Bullet Seed. The evolution of Nuzleaf to Shiftry costs 100 Seedot candy, evolving from Seedot to Shiftry will cost a total of 125 Seedot candy.

An exclusive research story, Seeing Double, has players "[f]ollow Professor Willow as he learns about Seedot and discovers just how much it and its evolved forms, Nuzleaf and Shiftry, enjoy messing with Trainers and Pokémon alike." Players who purchase and complete Seeing Double will receive five Golden Razz Berries, three Incense and other random rewards. Seeing Double costs one dollar and will not give players an in-game medal.

Seedot's day will showcase a brand new 24-hour long Community Day livestream on the Pokemon GO Youtube channel. Starting at 6pm Saturday the 23rd through 6pm pacific time Sunday, chat with fellow trainers while watching "Seedot and other Pokémon play in the wild."
