Article Wizard World Postpones Orlando Convention & Adds Multiple New Locations

This passed Thursday, Wizard World announced that its 2017 Orlando, FL Comic Con convention planned for August will be postponed to 2018. The new date is yet to be determined. Their 2017 Albuquerque, NM Comic Con convention planned for July has been canceled. No word yet on a new date or if there will be one in the future. For those who have already purchased tickets or photo ops, Wizard World stated that there will be automatic refunds.

In addition to the loss of two conventions, Wizard World announced several new locations for their Comic Con convention for this year. These locations include Columbus, Ohio (August 4-6), Chicago (August 24-27), Nashville, Tenn. (Sept. 8-10), Madison, Wis. (Sept. 22-24), Oklahoma City (Oct. 27-29) and Austin, Texas (Nov. 17-19).
